Company:
Company: From this contents page I can see that there are four main components that make up the magazine. one of them is a high street edit which are pages of the top picks from the high street. This is good for appealing to the target audience as Company have a younger demographic who when buying clothes may not have a big enough budget to afford designer so instead they go for high street alternatives. As it is also the age of studying they may not have all the free time to go and dig of the fashion gems and which is why it is a successful feature to have pages of them already hand picked for you.
It also has a section all about celebrities and not only their fashion but just interviews about their lifestyle and daily habits which is a nice way to break up the magazine, and to follow the conventions of magazines and make it seem less like a catalogue. These interviews are something to base my fashion article (double-page spread) on.
As well as these two main features it also has some small other sections which are based on social media. This could be vital when aiming at a younger demographic as that is their primary form of communication and connection with the outside world.
Elle: Elle is divided in to two main categories, there is a box that displays content that is featured in every issue and these aren't fashion related items, they are lifestyle. There is also a health and beauty edit that like company covers others components of appearance not just clothes. Elle contents page also then has other articles that are about fashion inspiration and celeb features. These again will be the sorts of things I will consider featuring in my magazine.
Allure has a slightly different approach to the content of its magazine. Rather than being a lifestyle based fashion magazine it features more fashion articles, and talks to celebrities about their clothing and appearance preferences. It also contains a little box that describes and explains what is happening on the front cover. It has no clear sub headings and is just displayed in a varying order rather than being sectioned within the magazine. It is clear that it is aimed at a younger audience because the content is all things that relate to the younger generation for example, there are again features about social media and about festivals which stereotypically are associated with younger people. This magazine contains features about music and make up also.
